I matched this absolutely perfect vintage embroidery to this awesome plaid a while back, but never sewed anything with it. Then while searching for something else I found it again... then I found this lace I had forgotten I had... I think the moral of the story is that I have too much fabric and lace!
But I am glad it took me this long because the match in this dress is absolutely amazing. With a sweet front bodice that ties in a back loop with a bow, this is an adjustable style. Zoe wears a size 7/8 and this still had room for her around the bodice - there is a back elastic panel for a good fit.
The skirt is short and full, with the ivory lace overlay just stunning with its embroidery and scallop design edge. Lucky I made it in a size too small as she wants to keep it, so it must be comfortable and fun to wear too!
If your wearer has long legs it might be a good idea to add bloomers for modesty, if they love to twirl!
